Our 20th Birthday
November 2022 marks the 20th Birthday of Blue Jelly.
We have kicked off our birthday celebrations by showcasing twenty of our favourite projects since 2002. Our ‘20 in 20’ feature will run for the whole of November and we’ve loved taking a walk down memory lane and seeing how far we have come and how much the workplace has changed.
This week, we have looked at Irwin Mitchell Birmingham from 2019, I-Level from 2008, IWG’s Spaces on Stockley park in 2021 and Investec Gresham Street from 2013.
Irwin Mitchell Birmingham was our biggest job by size for a law practice. The company took over two floors in
the heart of Birmingham city centre and entrusted Blue Jelly to bring its agile workspace to life.
Next up we have a cracking design-led project for tech company I-Level. Back in 2008, this forward-thinking business wanted a workplace that would inspire their team. Some of the features we now take for granted ie acoustic panelling weren’t even a product you buy, so we had our team of joiners make them.
We then moved to one of our more recent projects for IWG brand Spaces on Stockley park
This co-working space has everything a modern workplace could need. It was also the 25th Project we completed for IWG.
Finally, this week we’ve highlighted Investec Gresham Street. We have a long relationship with this global business and this project still sticks in our minds. It’s not every day we cover the reception area in custom-mined Jerusalem Stone. It was a very high-spec project and 9 years later it still looks amazing.
