The Brief

Irwin Mitchell are the UK’s leading full-service law firm with over 100 years of experience. Having completed numerous projects across the UK for Irwin Mitchell we were delighted to build on our experience and long-standing relationship with their team.

The brief for this CAT B design and fit out project included a need for flexible, agile workspaces as well as a large breakout, lounge area. The aim for their new Bristol workplace was to blend their brand into modern, flexible spaces that enable collaboration alongside ample room to breakout and recharge.

What we did

At the entrance we designed a client facing reception area with a suite of flexible meeting spaces including adjoining meeting rooms with bi-fold partitions allowing the spaces to be used for larger presentations.

In the main workspace we introduced a central collaboration table, meeting booths, additional meeting spaces alongside focused desk areas. A bay of lockers makes storage easy and enables the hot-desking approach to work seamlessly. The breakout area has a full-size kitchen with multiple hot/cold zip taps, a proper coffee machine and double American style fridge. The lounge area has soft seating, comfy booths and a wall length cushioned bench. The area is decorated with impressive wall art of local landmarks such as the iconic Clifton suspension bridge.

Using premium furniture from Allermuir and custom upholstery by Camira the design incorporates the Irwin Mitchell brand colours throughout. The quality of the furniture choices ensures the team are working comfortably all day.

The new space supports the Irwin Mitchell team to work more effectively in the way they need to. The design enables flexibility and collaborative work alongside plenty of desk space for heads down focus.

This is our recently completed project to build a 6,000 Sqft flagship office for a Marlow based, global audio and sound experience company.

The brief was to create a modern, flexible workplace for their team whilst providing unique, top-of-the-line customer experience spaces for product demonstrations. Our team created bespoke joinery solutions to enable interchangeable product placement to suit differing customer needs.

Introducing @energyaspects at @cargo.london, Canary Wharf. Ben Lark, Senior Designer has created a space that flows with curved ceiling lighting, biophilic design, clean lines, premium furniture and subtle, brand-led wall art. Working alongside the team at @coreprojectservices on this project was delightful, as always.

Congratulations to the Blue Jelly team for cycling 700km in 24 hours to raise vital funds for @oceanconservationtrust. The aim was to cycle the distance Eton to Epernay, 544km. We completed this distance by 6am and decided to push onward and see how far we could go. This year we aim to raise £20,000 for Ocean Conservation Trust.

At the centre of @Croxsons new workplace sits the iconic bar area, hugged by a corrugated bar wall in duck egg blue. The bespoke wooden shelving and back bar create a double layered frame for Croxsons products which peak through the semi-transparent, distressed mirrored glass. This recently completed project oozes quality from the designs right through to the furniture.
