The Brief
Norgine is a leading European specialist pharmaceutical company and we were appointed to design and build their new workplace at Arc Uxbridge. Their ambitious brief was to create a flagship space that could become a template for future Norgine workplaces. It needed to be a place their team loved to come to whilst celebrating Norgine’s heritage and communicating their future ambitions. It needed to be a modern, flexible global hub for the growing team. Energy efficiency, adaptability & collaboration were important considerations.
What We Did
Initially, we assisted Norgine with preliminary test fits for their chosen building ahead of Lease negotiations. This allowed the leadership team to make informed decisions about the space.
The workplace is crafted for flexibility, featuring collaborative, agile workstations, thoughtfully designed meeting rooms, and open-plan areas to foster creativity and focus. At the heart of the design is a large breakout area, framed with custom joinery, providing enough space for the team to recharge and socialise throughout the working day.
The client-facing reception area is a true celebration of Norgine’s achievements and brand identity. Featuring elegant curved walls and a bespoke curved reception desk inspired by their logo and iconography, the space perfectly blends style with storytelling.
The Results
Spanning an impressive 24,000 sq ft, this vibrant space occupies the entire top floor of Building 01 at the Arc, which is proudly rated BREEAM Very Good. With sweeping panoramic views over 70 acres of lush parkland, the new workplace promises an inspiring environment for innovation and collaboration.
