The Brief
Following a period of success and growth, the team needed a new space to accommodate their expanding team in a prime, well-connected location. Having carried out an in-depth workplace analysis with the client, an international nuclear organisation, they secured space in the iconic One Paddington Square building.
What We Did
Ahead of signing a lease, our team supported with a location analysis to explore the client’s preferred areas and to fully understand the transportation links and local amenities they required. Through a series of detailed test fits of the shortlisted buildings, we showcased the possibilities, enabling them to make an informed decision on One Paddington Square.
The design development process included close engagement with the client team to create a concept that supported their style of working. The space needed to feel welcoming, professional, and subtly luxurious, setting the tone for visitors and staff alike.
The focal point of the reception area is a bespoke Corian solid surface reception desk, a functional workstation with a modern feel. The large café area uses light wood and a biophilic undertone alongside deep burgundy pops to create a high-quality feel.
Considered acoustic treatments including ceiling slats, wall coverings and acoustic panels vastly improve the sound quality throughout. Natural lighting and planting further improve the atmosphere of the spaces.
