Despite Sacha Baron Cohen’s original character, for many years Staines-upon-Thames has been a firm favourite for Commercial Occupiers; from SMEs to National and International Corporates, Staines offers a variety of commercial space suitable for everyone.
Situated just inside the M25, with very easy access to Heathrow, the M3 and M4, as well as direct trains to Waterloo taking just over 30mins, what is not to love?! The geographical connectivity makes the talent pool even more accessible.
Whilst Staines is not unique in this, with the amount of commercial property that has been developed and redeveloped over the years, it is best placed to take advantage of its location as well as the picturesque views of the River Thames that Staines has to offer.
A few weeks ago, I discussed 1 Victoria Street, Windsor. In this mini blog I mentioned that it is the first development in Windsor for 20 years. However, in those 20 years, Staines has raced ahead with many buildings being built, let, sold, redeveloped, and let again in that time.
Two of my favourite Blue Jelly projects are both in Staines (I regularly use the imagery for my LinkedIn posts). Video Technology provider Synamedia and leader in Vulnerability Risk Management Tenable Networks. Both projects are as different as the sectors these two companies work in, yet both chose Staines for its prime location and easy accessibility.
At Blue Jelly we love working in Staines. Being based in Windsor, a project situated a few miles down the Thames is always welcome – although we usually use the A308!
