Of course, sustainable design, policies, interiors or indeed sustainable anything all fall a little flat without sustainable human behaviour.

So we practice what we preach at ‘The Courtyard’ Blue Jelly HQ. Aside from internal recycling policies we have carried out, through the Energy Institute, an independent assessment of our own ongoing energy consumption with a view to taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint, year on year.

This encapsulates:

• Fuel usage (e.g. gas bill)
• Vehicle usage
• Energy consumption & Staff travel
• The remainder is then Carbon offset to reset the balance.

Eco-jelly is our course our own term, devised to remind our team that, on a daily basis, we should not lose sight of our individual contributions.
